Guilty Gear series creator/composer Daisuke Ishiwatari made an appearance at EVO 2019 to announce a new game in the series! As of now, the game is titled Guilty Gear and due for release in 2020. Platforms are currently unknown and the game runs on Unreal Engine, most likely Unreal Engine 4. Lastly, Ishiwatari states that he wants to deliver a brand new Guilty Gear experience to fans.
