While there are still some surprises yet to be revealed, THQ Nordic are already revealing a few of their upcoming titles to be presented at this years Gamescom.

Darksiders: Genesis, the overhead action/adventure prequel to the traditional Darksiders games, which was leaked prior to this years E3, looks to offer a nice change for the series.  The game is expected to release later this year as of now for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.

Another game that was rumored before E3 that turned out to be true was the remake of the cult classic Destroy All Humans.  Destroy All Humans brings back players to the 1950s as Crypto where you’ll once again be harvesting human DNA and bringing the US government to its knees.  Destroy All Humans is expected to probe us all in early 2020.

Lastly, another title that was announced for the event was Biomutant, which is also slated to release later this year for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Biomutant is an open world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu RPG where you play as a raccoon like creature in a world filled with mutated animals.  The world is struck by a natural disaster causing poisonous oil to pollute the Tree of Life.  The Tree of Life has five roots through which it gives life to the whole world.  In order to save the Tree of Life, players need to go to the end of each root and destroy the mutated creature that’s gnawing at it.
