Trials of Mana new details – characters, features and more!

Square Enix has released a massive amount of new details for Trials of Mana! This remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 adds a lot of new content and features into a full package, remade with beautiful visuals and refined gameplay.

Story:

The story begins in a time where the world of Mana is covered in darkness, where the Goddess destroys the darkness with the Sword of Mana. The darkness is sealed in 8 Mana Stones and ages pass since this event. Evil again rises to set the darkness free and war begins. Mana is beginning to disappear from the world, the events of Trials of Mana begin here.

Characters: 

Duran is a young warrior from Valsena. He fights for his beloved kingdom and Hero King, who is a great friend of Duran’s father, Loki. Duran wields Warrior-type classes such as Knight, Paladin and Liege.

Trials of Mana

Angela is the only daughter of the True Queen of Altena, a snowy kingdom dominated by magic. Her mother barely gave attention to Angela, so she would grow up seeking attention with antics. She loves her mother though. Angela has a problem casting magic spells which still affects her in Trials of Mana. Her magic based classes include Magician, Sorceress and Mysticist among others.

Kevin is the heir to the throne of Ferolia. A heir to the beastmen with a human mother, Kevin has qualities of both races. However, he’s not well versed in communicating with humans which affects his social skills. Kevin specializes in Fighter-type classes such as Grappler, Monk and Divine Fist.

Charlotte is a half-elf maiden from Wendel. She’s the granddaughter of Wendel’s Priest of Light. She looks much younger than she actually is due to the elven blood she possesses. Charlotte’s outgoing and friendly personality makes others view her as a child but she is quite skilled in light/healing magics. Her classes include Cleric, Priestess and Sage.

Hawkeye is a thief of the Nevarland guild, home to many noble thieves. Hailing from the desert fortess of Nevarl, he’s an orphaned ward of Flamekhan. Hawkeye is a young man full of charm and skillful in conversation. His quick wit and prowess make him a powerful ally. Hawkeye is skilled in thief classes including Rogue and Nightblade.

Riesz is a young princess of the mountain kingdom, Laurent. She also serves in the Kingdom Guard, becoming a renown Captain. She’s a bit stubborn but down-to-earth, a worthy companion to have. She loves her remaining family and kingdom. Riesz wields Light and Dark classes such as Amazon, Rune Maiden and Starlancer.

Crimson Wizard is a villain in Trials of Mana, a magician with the gifted talent of dark magic. He serves the True Queen of Altena as her right hand man. He seeks to use the 8 Mana Stones for an unknown reason.

Goremand is another villain with dark power, a demonic eater of souls. In the form of a jester, he wields a scythe and gains the favor of the beastmen. This leads Goremand on a path of war and death.

Belladonna’s villainous beauty and power gains the advantage of Flamekhan, leader of Nevarl’s thieves guild. She seeks to take over Riesz’s homeland to please her Dark Majesty.

Features: 

Trials of Mana includes Prologues for each character, bringing lore and story elements from each character’s past into the present. These events can be skipped if the player wishes it so.

Ryo’s story continues in the Shenmue III launch trailer

PlayStation uploaded a new Shenmue III trailer from YS NET! The launch trailer is available now with only 6 days before the game releases. The long awaited return of Ryo into the current day gaming landscape is approaching, continuing after Shenmue II. The trailer focuses on Ryo and Shenhua’s journey through China as well as training. Ryo’s goal of avenging his father is intact as he pursues Lan Di. Here’s the latest trailer:

Customize your own in-game T-shirts in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix on Switch, new songs

Famitsu has revealed an interesting feature coming to Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix on Switch! In the game, players may customize and create their own t-shirts for characters to wear. By using a stylus or buttons, players can design the shirts to their liking. Colors, pens and erasers are available within the game as tools.

SEGA has announced that the Yakuza 7 demo releases on November 13th, which is today in Japan! A new story trailer was released as well featuring Kazuma Kiryu facing off against Ichiban Kasuga. Book III has served as the evolving story of Fire Emblem Heroes over the past year, receiving many updates and story chapters. Project Sakura Wars new information live stream airs on November 20th

SEGA has announced that the next Project Sakura Wars live stream airs on November 20th. This is the 9th information live stream leading up to the game’s Japanese release. The stream airs from 20:00 JST to 21:30 JST on the 20th. In the stream, new information and gameplay will be shown off. In addition, voice actors and developers will be in the stream to commentate. Atlus published some new information today about Joker and Sophia in Persona 5 Scramble! Joker is the protagonist of Persona 5 and a character fans are familiar with. Ren Amamiya during the day, Joker during Phantom Thief hours.

Now a 3rd year high school student, he visits Yongen-Jaya in Tokyo for summer vacation. However, its only a matter of time where another game begins to test Joker and the Phantom Thieves. This is where the story of Persona 5 Scramble begins.

A new character joins the fray for Persona 5 Scramble and her name is Sophia. Sophia is voiced by Misaki Kuno. She’s a mysterious girl that The Phantom Thieves meet in the other world version of Shibuya. She’s forgotten most of her memory and wants to “become good friends with humans.” She’s a happy enigma but genuine in her cause, wanting to help Joker and the Phantom Thieves.

Wielding yo-yos in battle, Sophia’s outfit also extends and her hairstyle may change as well. For her gun attack, Sophia uses a blaster. In addition, Sophia uses floating objects called Pithos which allow her to use bless-type skills.
