SEGA details new Company Management and Equipment Forging activities for Yakuza: Like a Dragon

SEGA has released some brand new information for Yakuza: Like a Dragon showcasing two new activities to the series! Company Management is activity where Ichiban can raise a ton of money, similar to Kiryu’s Real Estate Management in Yakuza 0.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

At a certain point in the game, Ichiban attempts to revive a small company called “Number One Confectionery”. The company is on the verge of shutting down and its up to Ichiban to raise money/stock value, beat rival companies and become the top business in Yokohama.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

The president of Number One Confectionery is Eri Kamataki, the previously mentioned heroine contest winner for Yakuza 7. Ichiban finds her collapsed and nurses her back to health which leads them on the mission to save the company.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Ichiban will manage personnel, property, funds and activities as the new president of the company. Sales vary with property potential and employee abilities. Players who played through the Real Estate Management activity of Yakuza 0 might be familiar with this sort of activity. Yes, a chicken is able to become an employee as well!

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

At times, shareholder meetings will be held. These are mini-games where Ichiban will need to persuade shareholders in debates and Q&A sessions. Increasing the shareholder approval rating and majority support will result in success. The shareholder meetings are held with real time Q&A battles with speech bubble attacks and chaos, so Ichiban must be ready for the task at hand.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

In addition, company employees may help with rebuttal attacks. Ichiban is able to knock shareholders’ HP bars down to zero and render them unable to argue. Once that happens, Ichiban gains the upper hand. Counter chances and the Extreme Apology Skill will ensure his victory.

Capcom details mini-games for Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, new art

Capcom has released some new information and art for the upcoming Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection! Here are some of the original mini-games detailed in the latest blog post:

There are over 20 mini games included in Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, each bringing their own unique challenge for you to tackle. Taking control of one of each game’s heroes, or even characters you can’t normally use, you’ll be tasked with a wide variety of challenges – some of which are very different from regular gameplay! Here’s a sample of what to expect:

MEGA MAN ZERO 3

Copy X
As Copy X, you’ll be using thunder, fire, and ice elements in a pseudo-puzzle game. Use Copy X’s element-based shots to destroy panels on a conveyor belt. Seems simple enough, but you’ll have to remember which element is weak to which and change elements on the fly.

Hidden Phantom
The most elusive of Neo Arcadia’s Four Guardians steps out of the shadows for this one. You’ll need to make some nimble jumps from one shuriken to the next to reach your goal. The shuriken move, so watch where they are and make each leap count!

MEGA MAN ZERO 4

“Elf Chase”
This game is particularly unique. Armed with only a lamp light, you’ll need to maneuver a Scrap Elf (an enemy from Zero 4) into a beam of light on the other side of the stage. It seems simple enough, but you’d be surprised how slippery your target can be! You’re under a strict time limit, so take care in how you move through the stage.

“Lava Surf”
In this challenging mini game, you’ll have to hot foot it across three separate platforms and put out rising flames. While you’ll earn bonus points for putting out fires before reaching the top, you can also lose time if you don’t keep your cool – literally! Avoid the flames and the lava below, and go for a high score.

MEGA MAN ZX

“Energy Converter”
This mini-game makes an appearance in the Area C-2 game room after you’ve completed the game. While it looks deceptively simple and can be a bit daunting at first, you’ll need to pair the falling jewels with a matching color beneath them. Give it a few rounds and you’ll be smashing jewels and enemies in no time!

MEGA MAN ZX ADVENT

“Quiz Advent”
Think you know everything there is to know about ZX Advent? This quiz will challenge how well you know the characters with three quiz types: the Zoom quiz, the Silhouette quiz, and the Gap quiz.

Keisuke Mizuno has released a preview of the new art for the Legacy Collection, here’s the sample:
