Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is in development for multiple platforms and a new anime is in production! The game is being developed in-house at Square Enix and produced by Ryutaro Ichimura. Yuji Horii implies that platforms for the game will be announced when the game is ready to be shown off. Konami has announced a free update coming to Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution. According to Japanese Nintendo, this update will feature new cards and characters for the game. In addition, the game will release for PS4, Xbox One and Steam in the near future. The free update will come to all versions including Switch.

Spike Chunsoft is hiring for a UI designer to work on a PS4 and PC adventure game with a unique requirement. They need someone who is a fan of the Danganronpa series, which leads to speculation about what this game could be. It’s possible that a new Danganronpa game is in development or a game similar to Danganronpa. Lastly, we know that Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka is working on a game with Spike Chunsoft alongside his company, Too Kyo Games.

SEGA has released new details about Yakuza: Like a Dragon! Within Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Survive Bar is a gathering spot for Ichiban and the party. It serves as a karaoke bar with activities to partake in such as karaoke (of course), talking to friends and listening to CDs. Ichiban may even set up plants outside of the bar.
Events known as “Bond Dramas” may occur as well, allowing Ichiban to learn more about his friends’ private lives. As expected, karaoke is back with new songs to enjoy.
CDs include music from the entire Yakuza series and Ichiban may listen to them in Survive Bar. These CDs may be purchased in shops or obtained from Play Spots.
Ichiban may grow plants in front of Survive Bar and even harvest them as items to gain HP, MP or sell for money. Lastly, the Survive Bar’s manager may prepare bento boxes for the party.

Idea Factory has announced that Azur Lane: Crosswave releases for PS4 and PC in February 2020! The PC version supports, English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese language options. In addition, preorders are available now in Idea Factory’s European Store. Preorders for the Standard and Limited Edition in the North American online store open on January 9th.

Famitsu has uploaded new gameplay of the Monster Rancher remaster for Switch! Koei Tecmo is publishing the game in Japan but there’s currently no word on a western release. Mihoyo has announced that Honkai Impact 3rd releases for PC on December 26th! Current mobile players may log into the PC version with their Mihoyo account.
