    During the Stadia Connect, it has been announced that Mortal Kombat 11 will be releasing on the platform!

    MK is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise.

    The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control of your fighters to make them your own. The new graphics engine showcases every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, bringing you so close to the fight you can feel it. Featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best-in-class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.

    Mortal Kombat 11 is available right now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

    Windjammers 2 releases early 2020 for Switch, PC and Stadia, Gamescom 2019 trailer

    Dotemu has announced a new release window for Windjammers 2! It releases early 2020 for Switch, PC and Google Stadia. Along with this news, Dotemu released a new trailer just in time for Gamescom. Here’s an overview and the Gamescom trailer:

    Making their grand entrance today are two brand new characters, Loris Biaggi and Jao Raposa. Biaggi is a freshly minted legend on the windjamming court, touting some seriously impressive blocking and shooting skills, Biaggi has been a lifelong athletic legend that will impress even the most die hard jammers. Jao spent his childhood in Brazil watching the original Windjammers’ Steve Miller own his opponents on the jammin’ court, and his special moves show just how much he admires his iidol. Both are absolute forces of nature on the windjamming court, so be prepared to harness their ultimate disc throwing prowesses.

    Featuring enhanced online multiplayer modes and a rad solo mode, Windjammers 2 will also make your head spin with its all new-jumps, smashes and slapshots to bring the best windjammin’ experience on the court.

    Dead by Daylight will be receiving Stranger Things content in September!

    The development team behind Dead by Daylight have announced some brand new content for the game.

    The Dead by Daylight team is proud to present the brand-new Chapter for Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things. The Entity descends on the Midwestern town of Hawkins as Stranger Things, the critically acclaimed Netflix Original Series enters the realm of Dead by Daylight. The Chapter introduces a new Killer and two new Survivors to the realm of The Entity: the monstrous, otherworldly Demogorgon is the new untamable Killer. Against it stands not one, but two, new Survivors: Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble. The Stranger Things Chapter comes with a new map, the Underground Complex. Located below the Hawkins National Laboratory, this grim compound caused an inter-dimensional rift that released dozens of creatures before being sealed off.

    This new content is set to release in September.

    Halo: Reach content is headed to Gears 5!

    Microsoft has announced during Inside Xbox that Halo Reach content will be heading to Gears 5!

    One of the most storied franchises in all of gaming is coming to the Gears franchise at launch when Halo: Reach drops onto Sera. From Noble Team, Spartans Emile-A239 and Kat-B320 will fight alongside the likes of Kait Diaz  and Marcus Fenix in Horde and Versus. The Halo: Reach Character Pack also includes a variety of Noble Team cosmetics to choose from like a Noble Team Jack Skin, Noble Team Banner, Noble Team Blood Spray, Noble Team Mark and the Noble Team Weapon Set. The Halo: Reach Character Pack will be available for all Gears 5 Ultimate Edition owners and included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

     

    Gears 5 launches on September 10th, 2019.

    Contra: Rogue Corps will receive a season pass, full game file size is 3.8 GB

    Konami will release a season pass for their latest game, Contra: Rogue Corps. Multiple cosmetics will be released in packs including t-shirts and character skins. Here’s what the eShop listing details:

    Monster Rancher port confirmed for Switch

    According to Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream, their October 2019 issue confirms that Monster Rancher will be releasing for Nintendo Switch (Thanks, Gematsu). However, it is still possible that more platforms could be confirmed at a later date.

    Monster Rancher first released for the PlayStation 1 on November 30th, 1997 and this port is an updated version. First developed by Tecmo (now Koei Tecmo), this monster raising simulator included a unique feature with CDs at the time. Inserting a CD into the PlayStation would generate a new monster. It is unknown how this feature will be changed for the Switch release.
