The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily is Coming to Switch 2 and PS5

One or Eight, WSS Playground, and Alliance Arts have announced that “crowd controlling liberation” strategy RPG The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on December 2. The Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 versions of The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily will be available for pre-order soon.

The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily launched on July 24, 2025 for $29.99 for PC via Steam. Final Weapon reviewed The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily and gave it a 3.5/5 score, noting that it’s a “strategy game that veterans and newcomers to the genre can enjoy, but it’s one doesn’t do much to stand out.”

The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily stars Scarlet, the duchess of the Imperial Kingdom. Scarlet is falsely accused of regicide and sent to the guillotine, but a mysterious girl named Lily saves her from certain death. Lily holds the power of “streaming” alongside the best aerial warship in the entire Empire. 

Players combine Scarlet’s wit and Lily’s technological expertise to lead a rebellion against the Imperial Kingdom. As the villainess, Scarlet may use Lily’s livestreaming powers to lead the revolution and influence imperial ground troops in turn-based strategy RPG combat. Spread uncertainty among generals, create diversions, and strike at critical points to bewilder the Imperial armies. While livestreaming and battling imperial troops, Scarlet and Lily may gain valuable allies and forge deep relationships to bring the best out of their forces.
