SHUEISHA GAMES and SAYIL GAMES have announced that BAKUDO will release for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam in 2027. A demo is available now on Steam.
In a press release, the developers added new characters to the upcoming game:

- A new student in Soliris Academy’s Coreball Department. She enrolled chasing the one clue her missing father left behind. When someone’s in trouble, she’s moving before she’s even decided to. The one thing she can’t handle? Someone being nice to her.
- Evie
- An upperclassman in the Support Department and a genius inventor. The kind of bright, easygoing mood maker who clicks with anyone in minutes, and Yuria’s partner through it all. She never stops teasing her, but when it counts, there’s no one more reliable.
- Aria
- The top-ranked member of the Stellar Eight. A genius nobody disputes. Calm, composed, and a woman of few words, she rarely lets her feelings show. She’s also the one who hands Yuria an impossible trial.
