Milan Records has released the soundtrack for the Street Fighter movie on various music streaming services such as Apple Music and Spotify. The film is available to watch now in theaters.
Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson compose the soundtrack, which also features music by industrial band HEALTH. The composers state the following about the soundtrack:
“To describe the music of Street Fighter as an influence would simply be an understatement — it is legitimately one of the core musical works that forged our musical identities. As young and budding composers, we listened to Yoko Shimomura’s iconic ‘Guile’s Theme’ probably more than Raiders of the Lost Ark. We hope fans will hear the love and reverence we hold for this music within our version of ‘Guile’s Theme.’ We are beyond grateful to Kitao [Sakurai] and the teams at Legendary and Capcom for the opportunity to contribute music to the Street Fighter universe.”
The main cast of the Street Fighter movie includes:
- Andrew Koji (Warrior, Bullet Train) as Ryu
- Noah Centineo (Black Adam, The Recruit) as Ken
- Leati Joseph Anoa’i (WWE Superstar Roman Reigns) as Akuma
- Jason Momoa (Aquaman, A Minecraft Movie, Supergirl) as Blanka
