SEGA has revealed that both the Persona 3 and Persona 4 series, which includes the spin-offs and main games, have surpassed 5 million copies sold. Specifically, Persona 3 series has reached 5 million copies, while the Persona 4 series has reached 5.7 million copies sold.
The Persona 3 metric includes Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight, and Persona 3 Reload. Persona 4 includes Persona 4, Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Persona 4 Dancing All Night. The announcement comes just a few months after the Persona series reached 30 million copies sold. The success of Persona 4 in particular will continue when Persona 4 Revival launches first on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch on May 20, 2027. The cast so far includes:

Nakamura initially debuted in the Persona 4: The Animation anime series. She is the daughter of the owners of Aiya, which is a Chinese restaurant that can be found in Inaba’s Central Shopping District. The character will be part of the “Location Episodes,” a new mechanic where you will be able to learn stories about how members of the cast acted in the past. For instance, you can give a photo to Yosuke, that will cause him to reflect on his time in Junior High. Check out our preview of Persona 4 Revival before its release next year.
Lastly, ATLUS recently announced Persona 6, which is in development for a release at some point before 2028 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam.
