Bandai Namco has announced that the online for SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada will end service in May 2027. The game will still be available as an offline PvE extraction shooter.
The release date for the offline version is currently unknown. However, according to an FAQ, it will be a free upgrade for those who already own the game. Those who have played the game beforehand will be able to transfer their save data. Though, Bandai Namco notes that it will not refund unused SYN COINS. No further updates for the game will release after October 2026.
SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada initially released in January 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Both a digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99) and digital Ultimate Edition ($99.99) are available now. Final Weapon reviewed SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada and gave it a 2.5 out of 5 score, stating that the game “does have potential, but it’s sadly held back by a live service format and its monetization elements. Although there’s fun to be had online, the game makes it a hassle to actually play with others, and the combat and gameplay loop can become repetitive.”
