Ahead of the 35th anniversary of the Kirby series next year, Nintendo has revealed a celebratory logo. Nintendo has promised that “more information is coming in the future”, alongside the spring 2027 release of Kirby and the World Beyond.
Nintendo recently revealed Kirby and the World Beyond at the September 9 Nintendo Direct. It will release for Nintendo Switch 2, and the eShop page provides this description of the game:

Copy your enemies’ abilities as Kirby, and use the powers you get in lots of different ways! Blast yourself into the air with bomb jumps, stick your sword into trees and climb, ride at high speed across fields, and more—there are plenty of moves you can use to get around as you push boundaries to explore the world beyond.
Encounter a mysterious girl—and adventure beyond a peculiar wall
Rescue a girl with mysterious powers from King Dedede! Who is she? Does she have some connection to the strange power Kirby has gained? And why is there a huge wall in Kirby’s way? What could be waiting on the other side? These are just some of the mysteries you’ll uncover in your journey!
In addition, the most recent Kirby game, Kirby Air Riders, is available now on Nintendo Switch 2. It is a sequel Air Ride, the beloved GameCube game that was released in 2003. Masahiro Sakurai returned to direct the title, bringing back many of the modes from the original, in addition to over a dozen playable characters. The fast-paced action is a wild contrast from Mario Kart World, offering a unique experience for Switch 2 players. Various amiibo for the game are available now.
