Phoenixx Inc. have announced that the OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2026 online showcase will take place on September 30. The new installment of the TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT will take place at Congress Square Grand Green Osaka on October 3 and 4.
MC Hyakka Ryoran will host the first ever OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT online showcase, which will feature selected exhibitor titles with live gameplay. It will also include a special segment offering insights into current indie game trends, joined by popular guests. The stream will last for 3 hours and be available to watch via TikTok LIVE on the TikTok LIVE Japan account and Indie Game Summit account. The event will also feature the song “Karen’s Son” by SiM.
OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT is a showcase-style event similar to the TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT. Here, creators, users, companies, and a wide range of developers involved in games will gather and connect, with a focus on indie games. Further, the venue will feature domestic and international indie game exhibitions and hands-on demos, business matching, stage programs, and other content centered on “discovering, playing, and connecting” through indie games. The “Public Session toward Building an Environment for New Game IP to Emerge from Kinki — What Does Game Development Look Like from the Player’s Perspective?” panel will take place during the event on October 3. It will feature the following speakers:
