Season 2 of The Detective Is Already Dead will premiere on October 7, as revealed in the anime’s latest trailer. The new trailer also confirms two more cast members for The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2.
New cast members include Akari Komiyama as Mia Whitlock and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Scarlet.
The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 premieres on October 7 at 10:00 p.m. JST on d Anime Store and 10:30 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX.
Koume performs the opening theme song “Kono Shinzo ni Hanataba wo,” and Kagura Nana performs the ending theme song “Hakuchumu.”

In November 2019, Nigojū and Umibōzu released The Detective is Already Dead under Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J imprint. The novel achieved massive success, winning the 15th MF Bunko J newcomer award in 2019. Kadokawa will publish the 13th volume on July 25.
