Sony has released a new exclusive clip for the upcoming Resident Evil movie, releasing in theaters on September 18. Tickets are now live.
Rather than focusing on Leon or Claire, the movie instead features Bryan (Austin Abrams), a medical courier tasked with a delivery during the fall of Raccoon City. Along the way, Bryan will need to outrun zombies and other monsters, all while rummaging for ammo and weapons in classic Resident Evil fashion. As previously announced, the movie will pull elements that pay homage to the gameplay of Resident Evil, such as a first-person perspective, fixed camera angles, green herbs, and characters that miss their shots. The film will also star Zach Cherry, Paul Walter Hauser, and Kali Reis.

3 months have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City.
Claire Redfield, having survived along with Leon S. Kennedy and Sherry Birkin, travels to France in search of her brother, Chris Redfield.
However, what awaits her is not a reunion with her brother, but the Umbrella special forces unit responsible for the incident. They capture Claire and transport her to a mysterious island.
Now Claire must make a desperate attempt to escape the remote Rockfort Island which, due to another biological disaster, has transformed into a living hellscape of survival horror.
