Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV Updates Include Autumn Ring Circuit and New Modes

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital have unveiled its new “Spec IV” updates for Gran Turismo 7, which will be released in two parts for free. Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV rolls out first with a major new update in October, followed by the second major update in December.

The October Spec IV update brings the new Sportsland SUGO circuit in Japan with a familiar Dunlop bridge. Autumn Ring will make its long-awaited return in the December Spec IV update, and there will also be 12 new cars across both Spec IV updates. 

Spec IV will also bring new game modes and features, such as Online Drift Trials, randomized conditions for online races in Shuffle Races, new Driving Experiences, an expanded Car Viewer, new progression elements, and a Concierge feature for car buying.

Family Mode will be introduced in December to make Gran Turismo 7 more accessible and enjoyable for family and friends. More details about this mode and the Spec IV updates will be revealed during Gran Turismo World Series Round 3 in Singapore on October 3.

Polyphony Digital previously released the Gran Turismo 7 Spec III update and Power Pack DLC on December 4, 2025. The update introduced a slew of content, including eight new cars, a new cinematic intro, a data logger feature, a new Circuit Experience, the Yas Marina Circuit and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve tracks, and much more. Power Pack released for $29.99 and features 50 races spanning 20 categories, including 24-hour endurance races.

Gran Turismo 7 and the game’s free demo, My First GT, available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players may complete the demo to earn bonuses in Gran Turismo 7. Regular updates can be found at the official Gran Turismo blog.
