The reveal trailer depicts the game’s protagonist and setting: a lone soldier descending the precarious branches of the World Tree — humanity’s last refuge from the Blight-corrupted earth. It is a place fraught with peril, and in their fear, humanity has branded “Fell Children” as omens of disaster.
After encountering a Fell Child resembling his late daughter, the protagonist goes against orders and resolves to escort the mysterious figure to the surface world. The trailer also showcases the game’s core gameplay mechanics and the tension of every leap and fall. The main story offers a densely packed narrative experience that can be enjoyed in a single playthrough. After clearing the main story, players can continue challenging themselves with higher-difficulty maps and time trials.
