The staff of the upcoming anime adaptation of Iris and Noboru Kannatsuki’s Magical Explorer light novel series have revealed a promotional video, key visual, additional staff and cast members, and the anime’s October 3 release date. The video previews the opening theme song “Remedy” by ASCA. ASCA will also perform the ending theme song, “Double Wings.”
Newly announced cast members include:
- Mai Fuchigami as Marino Hanamura
- Minami Tsuda as Hatsumi Hanamura
- Risa Tsumugi as Claris
- Asaki Yuikawa as Iori Hijiri
- Hikaru Tōno as Rina Katō
The cast of the anime includes:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kōsuke Takioto
- Ai Kakuma as Ludie
- Saori Ōnishi as Yukine Mizumori
- M.A.O as Nanami
Kazuki Ohashi directs the anime adaptation at WHITE FOX. Satoko Sekine will handle the series composition, Ryosuke Kimiya is the character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro is the music composer.

The Magical Explorer novel series began in February 2018 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Kadokawa began publishing the light novel series in November 2019, and the 13th volume will ship on April 1, 2026.
The manga adaptation was launched by Yukari Higa in Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up in August 2020. The manga’s third compiled book volume released on January 8. Yen Press is publishing the light novel series and manga adaptation.
