Bandai Namco announced that Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker DLC character Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode) is now available with a free update. Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode) will be the 49th DLC character in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and the second for Season 10 following Jiraiya (Sage Mode).
The update also adds the following Ninjutsu and Avatar Parts:
- Ninjutsu
- Frog Kumite (Attack Type)
- Nature Energy: Concentration (Attack Type)
- Secret Technique
- Tailed Beast State: Nine Tails (Attack Type)
- Avatar Parts
- Costume: Naruto outfit: Hokage Cloak version (male & female)
- Accessories: Naruto’s wallet
- Hairstyle: Naruto (no headband) / Minato (no headband)
- Weapon: Naruto’s scroll
- Honorary Title: Hero
The 8th anniversary campaign is also live through September 24 with multiple events, including Weapon & Ninja tool trial and Ninjutsu Trial, login bonus of 50 Esoteric scrolls and 50 Valuable scrolls, and a season pass bonus allowing players to unlock a secret ninjutsu technique usable for both attack and defense along with powerful new weapons. The Ninja Shark summoning animal will also be added this fall.
Fans can also look forward to new projects that will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Naruto anime, including “games developed by new partners.” TV Tokyo CEO and president Hiroshi Yoshitsugu notes that the company aims to build global momentum toward the Naruto anime’s 25th anniversary in 2027.
Lastly, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It is also playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
