SEGA and ATLUS have announced that Persona 4 Revival and the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Metaphor: ReFantazio will be playable at the SEGA-ATLUS demo booths at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The Persona 4 Revival Tokyo Game Show 2026 will feature two playable sections, including the beginning segment of the story and a slice of Yukiko’s castle dungeon.
Before Tokyo Game Show arrives, Persona 4 Revival will be featured at the Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast on August 26. The previous Persona 4 Revival Broadcast highlighted the remake’s story, characters, battle system, and improvements. The remake recreates the legendary Persona 4 Golden with new fully voiced events and dialogue, a newly recorded and arranged soundtrack, and new features, such as the Prime Time gameplay mechanic. Animation studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) will produce the in-game anime cutscenes in Persona 4 Revival.
Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. Persona 4 Revival will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Pre-orders for the Persona 4 Revival Collector’s Edition (console only) are available now at participating retailers.
Persona 6 was announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. ATLUS describes Persona 6 as “The highly anticipated next chapter of the iconic RPG series delivers a bold, new standalone story blending heartfelt daily life and new characters with pulse-pounding, supernatural adventure. Whether it’s your first Persona game or you’ve been here since the beginning, this one’s for you.“
