Nintendo has announced the new price for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the United Kingdom, which will go into effect on September 1. In England, it will cost £419.99, while in Ireland, it will cost €499,99.
Initially, it cost £395.99/€469,99 in England and Ireland, respectively. The announcement comes a few months after Nintendo revealed the global price change, which is due to “changes in market conditions.” Starting September 1, the recommended retail price of Nintendo Switch 2 will increase from $449.99 to $499.99 (tax excluded) in the U.S., and in Canada, the price will increase from $629.99 CAD to $679.99 CAD (tax excluded).
The next major game for Nintendo Switch 2, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, will launch on September 17 for $70 digitally and $80 physically. Several new details about the upcoming title were revealed at the August 4 Direct. A “Dagdan Edition” will be available with art cards, a map of Dagda, an artbook, and a steelbook case.
