Entergram has announced that the Steam release of Okayu Nyumu! R, the sequel to “pure love” visual novel Okayu Nyumu! starring hololive VTuber Nekomata Okayu, has been indefinitely delayed. The Steam version of Okayu Nyumu! R was originally planned to release on August 7, and it’s likely that there was an obstacle in Valve’s Steam review process for the game.
Okayu Nyumu! R will be exhibited at Comiket 108 from August 15 to 16.
Okayu Nyumu! R launched on February 26, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via DMM Games in Japan.

Story
Nekomata Okayu—the charming face of an onigiri shop, now in human form.
You two have shared a life of joy and smiles ever since falling in love. But when an invitation to a Tokyo food fair arrives, you find yourself stuck on a new recipe. Seeing this, Okayu smiles and says:
“Then how about a trip to Aomori with me? We can go scouting for all the tasty ideas out there! ♪”
This “business trip” quickly transforms into a “lovers’ vacation.” A bond that started like a prank from the gods becomes deeper and dearer with every stop along the way.
