STUDIO CHARON has announced a new bullet-hell, titled Sanasana, which will release for PC via Steam in October. It will release with English, Chinese, and Japanese language options.

A journey to destroy the witches—and bring a loved one back from the dead.
To bring her deceased sister back to life,
Sana sets out in search of three Golden Apples,
said to grant any wish.
The apples are held by three witches
who dwell deep within the Lost Forest.
Scattering petals.
Falling lights.
Beautiful yet deadly waves of bullets closing in like blades.
Each witch standing in Sana’s path carries her own wish,
her own twisted convictions,
and her own madness.
Sana does not care what she must sacrifice
as long as she can bring her sister back.
At the end of her wish, will she find salvation—
or destruction?
SANASANA is a vertically scrolling bullet hell shooter
set in a dark fantasy world,

Story
Once upon a time, deep within the Forest of Lost Souls, there were three golden apples.
Legend says that whoever gathers them all can have one wish granted—any wish at all.
Sana, a girl who lost her precious family in a sudden accident. Having lost her reason for living, she resolves to journey forth in search of the golden apples, said to have been stolen by wicked witches.
Bullets dance like flowers, light rains down like blades. Blocking her path are witches, each harboring their own twisted beliefs and madness.

This is a dark fantasy shooter about wishes and sacrifice.
