Bandai Namco Filmworks unveiled its new Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO anime series for 2027 during the “GUNDAM Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam” panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
According to Bandai Namco Filmworks, Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO is part of the RG Project cross-media initiative. RG Project also includes the upcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit game, which shares the same world settings while portraying it from “different ways and visions.” RG Project is also on a new timeline separate from the first Gundam anime’s “Universal Century” timeline.
Takeo Otsuka stars as Ray Azumi in Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO.
