Gamescom has revealed more major exhibitors for 2026, and confirmed that it has sold out of all available exhibition space for the first time. It is already planning expansion plans for 2027.

Recently, CD Projekt Red has announced that the first look at The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion “Songs of the Past” will release during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live. The event will stream at 11 AM PDT/2 PM EDT/ 8 PM CEST. Earlier this year, CD Projekt Red and co-developer Fool’s Theory have announced Songs of the Past, which will launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Alongside the release, the game’s system requirements will be updated as well. It’s unclear whether the expansion is coming to the Switch version, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version was not announced yet.
SEGA also revealed its lineup for Gamescom 2026, which includes Persona 4 Revival, Stranger Than Heaven, Crazy Taxi: World Tour, and more. It also includes Alien: Isolation 2 and Total War: Warhammer 40k. Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. Persona 4 Revival will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Pre-orders for the Persona 4 Revival Collector’s Edition (console only) are available now at participating retailers. Stranger Than Heaven will release on January 15, 2027, while Total War: Warhammer 40k and Crazy Taxi: World Tour are set for a 2027 release window. The release date for Alien: Isolation 2 is unknown.
