This is Reverse: 1999’s latest crossover collaboration as its era-spanning content combines with the utopian and retrofuturistic world of popular first-person shooter, Atomic Heart.

The content includes two new playable characters and an original crossover story based on Atomic Heart’s alternate history setting. Advanced humanoid robot bodyguard The Twins and antagonist repair cabinet Nora will have fresh narratives.

Meanwhile, Reverse: 1999 characters, including Vertin, X, Madam Lucy and Mesmer Jr., will take a trip to Facility 3826 (Atomic Heart’s world) for this new adventure. New, themed cosmetics bring retrofuturism style to beloved, existing characters in the Reverse: 1999 universe.

The collaboration is also globally synced, meaning that players around the world will get access to the new gameplay content at the same time, including one of the game’s biggest reward campaigns to date. There’s an abundance of rewards on offer, from a special banner with an additional reward system, the free 4-star Nora via in-game activities, a free monthly pass, a free character garment and up to 110+ free pulls. There’s so much on offer.

During the livestream, the Reverse: 1999 team also presented a new code for freebies: AtomicHeartCollab0723

Highlights include:

      • The Twins joins Reverse: 1999 as a new summonable collaboration character with an exclusive banner and bonus reward system.
      • As the first dual-Afflatus character in the game, The Twins is a powerhouse DPS capable of dealing damage across two Afflatus types. Even more impressively, they can wield two exclusive Psychubes at the same time, empowering them with two full sets of base stats and unique Psychube effects.
      • In the [Analysis of Metallic Dramaturgy] banner, when you reach 100 summons for the first time, you can choose one of two rewards: 1 copy of The Twins or 1 [Suitcase Impression], an item that allows you to select a character from a random Afflatus. At 160, 220, and 280 pulls, players can choose another 4 rewards throughout the whole banner.
      • [Suitcase Impressions] is a new type of 6-star character selector. They include all 6-star characters available in the Standard Pool as of the Atomic Heart collaboration version. [Suitcase Impressions] come in 5 types: Mineral, Star, Plant, Beast, and Spirit + Intellect.
      • Nora can be recruited completely free by completing in-game activities.
      • A brand-new crossover story sees the cast of Reverse: 1999 travelling into the world of Atomic Heart.
      • New collaboration garments inspired by Atomic Heart‘s distinctive retrofuturistic aesthetic for fan-favourite Reverse: 1999 characters.
      • Over 110 free pulls, a free monthly pass, a free Brimley garment, and numerous additional anniversary-style rewards.

Every collaboration character has been designed with entirely original combat abilities, giving players fresh mechanics to master alongside the crossover’s new story content.

Reverse: 1999 is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Windows and Steam
