TYPE-MOON has announced that a new TYPE-MOON TIMES Mini livestream will be held on July 10 at 20:00 JST / 7:00 a.m. EDT with the latest information for MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA. Shiki Tohno voice actor Ryosuke Kanemoto and Len voice actress Kaori Ishihara will be present at TYPE-MOON TIMES, with Kanemoto recapping the latest MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA news that was revealed at Anime Expo 2026.
MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA is slated to release in early 2027 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, and the game’s official website is now live. The fighting game sequel will feature new characters and refined battle mechanics.
In the meantime, fans can look forward to a new 3-volume novel series for Witch on the Holy Night by creator Kinoko Nasu with illustrations by Koyama Hirokazu. All three volumes will be released by publisher Seikaisha Fictions on monthly basis from August to October 2026.
The Witch on the Holy Night anime film opens on November 20 in theaters in Japan.

Studio ufotable is responsible for the animation of the film, featured in ufotable’s “future projects” reel. The studio has a long-standing relationship with TYPE-MOON, being responsible for the production of Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel movie trilogy, and 8 the Garden of Sinners films.
The Witch on the Holy Night visual novel released on December 8, 2022 worldwide for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. One year later, Aniplex and TYPE-MOON released a Steam version on December 14, 2023. This localized version of Witch on the Holy Night includes full voice acting, HD visuals, and remastered audio. English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese are all supported.
