Square Enix has released a new event for Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, themed around Dragon Quest VI. The collaboration event is available now until September 1.
Players can earn event-exclusive Memories through event gameplay, along with Ramias’ Set Transmuter Vouchers and a special event-exclusive accessory from the Swap Shop. As part of the new Ramias’ Equipment Set, players can also get a brand new weapon, the Sword of Ramias. This powerful weapon is equipped with the “Radiant Slash” Coup de Grâce. The ability channels the power of an ancient hero to deliver a dazzling strike that deals physical light damage. It is also imbued with the ‘Light of Truth’ Enchantment, that activates after using “Radiant Slash.” It lasts for 10 seconds while also curing bedazzlement.
While active, it also adds a light-infused explosion to normal attack and “Radiant Slash” hits. During the event, players can claim up to 1,200 Free Gems simply by logging in. In addition, by logging into the Web Store, players can claim 10 Free Metal Equipment Transmuter Vouchers and check out exclusive special bundles for the event. Players can also interact with Rek, Carver, and other iconic DRAGON QUEST VI characters. Increasing the bond with these characters, players will unlock Ally Blessings.
Lastly, Dragon Quest Smash/Grow launched on April 21 worldwide for Android via Google Play Store and iOS via App Store. Here’s an overview of the game, via Square Enix:
