The official X account (formerly known as Twitter) of the anime adaptation of Miya Kinojo’s Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers (Lv2 kara Cheat datta Moto Yūsha Kōho no Mattari Isekai Life) has revealed that a second season is in production. Alongside the announcement, a new trailer and teaser visual were also unveiled.

Yoshiaki Iwasaki directed the first season at studio J.C.STAFF. Megumi Shimizu provided the series composition, Takehiro Suwa handled the character designs and Kujira Yumemi composed the music.
Kinojo first released the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2016. Overlap then began publishing the story in edited print volumes with art by Katagiri, beginning with the first volume in December 2016.In 2019, Akine Itomachi launched a manga adaptation on Overlap’s Comic Gardo manga website.
The first season of Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers premiered in 2024 and consisted of 12 episodes in total. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime series with English subtitles and an English dub.
