AstralShift has announced that “infernal bullet hell deck-builder” RPG Hell Maiden will launch on July 16 in Steam Early Access with the game’s first two
Circles of Hell — Limbo and Lust. The subsequent seven Circles of Hell will be added over time in updates, which will also greatly expand the narrative of Hell Maiden.
The Steam Early Access version of Hell Maiden lets players rescue and befriend all four available Poets of Limbo, which each have their own pool of Weapon and Mod
cards to experiment with. Defeating each boss comes with an additional perk to aid in player’s later runs through the Circles of Hell.
Players will be able to interact with legendary historical figures, including Virgil, Horace, Homer and Ovid. The story will feature voice-acting with talent such as Diana Garnet as Dante and Phoebe Chan as both Virgil and Beatrice, along with “new and exciting collaborations.”
Hell Maiden will be available in Steam Early Access with a total of eight supported languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
What’s more, Hell Maiden will receive a new opening theme song by Japanese band Mili, titled “Not my Paradiso.” Mili produced all aspects of the opening theme song for Hell Maiden.
Mili’s resume includes songs and original soundtrack contributions for Honkai: Star Rail, Goblin Slayer, Limbus Company, ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights, and Library of Ruina, to name a few.
Fans can try out the Hell Maiden demo on Steam, and the game’s official soundtrack is now streaming on YouTube. The Hell Maiden original soundtrack was composed by Skyleo.
