Activision and Infinity Ward have announced that the Campaign Early Access period for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will begin on October 23, giving players access to the game’s campaign before the full global launch. Players receive Campaign Early Access by pre-ordering the Standard or Vault Editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which also includes access to the upcoming beta.
Pre-orders for the Standard Edition ($69.99) and Vault Edition ($99.99) are now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version will open at a later date with more details to come in summer 2026.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will launch on October 23 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Battle.net, and Microsoft Store. Infinity Ward is working with Digital Legends to develop Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Nintendo Switch 2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will support cross-play across all platforms, and the Switch 2 version supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
