Kadokawa just revealed that the upcoming anime adaptation of Kureha’s Bride of the Barrier Master (Kekkaishi no Ichirinka) light novel series will bereleased in January 2027. The The staff also revealed a new teaser video, key visual, and additional cast and staff members.
The anime stars Akari Kitō as Hana Ichise and Kikunosuke Toya as Saku Ichinomiya. Tōru Kitahata, known for his work on Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It, is directing the anime at TROYCA. Minami Murayama is handling the character design, and Yūko Kakihara is handling the series scripts. Yukari Hashimoto and R.O.N are composing the music.
