The staff behind the KILL BLUE anime has released a recap trailer for the series to commemorate the release of its eighth episode. The video provides an overview of everything that has happened in the anime thus far.

KILL BLUE initially premiered on April 11, and is available to stream across various streaming platforms. This includes Netflix, Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime Video, and the It’s Anime YouTube channel in North America. The cast of the anime includes:
- Shinsuke Takeuchi as protagonist Juzo Ogami in his adult form
- Yūko Sanpei as Juzo Ogami in his kid form
- Fūka Izumi as Noren Mitsuoka

Hiro Kaburagi is the director of the KILL BLUE anime. What’s more, Miho Daidōji is the character designer, and CUE is producing the animation. The KILL BLUE manga recently received a new novel adaptation, titled Kill Ao Secret Report (Kill Blue Secret Report), by Kiyoko Hoshi. The novel shipped on December 4, 2025 alongside the manga’s 13th and final compiled book volume. Shueisha serialized the KILL BLUE manga in Weekly Shonen Jump.
