NEXON has released a new update for anime-style RPG mobile game Blue Archive with full Steam Deck and controller support. A new Blue Archive Steam Startup Movie is also available for 3,000 points in the Steam Points Shop. To properly play Blue Archive on Steam Deck, a virtual cursor must be enabled, and more details can be read at the game’s latest blog post with the patch notes.

NEXON recently announced its Anime Expo 2026 plans for Blue Archive during the 4.5th Anniversary “Kivotos Live” Broadcast, which was hosted by Executive Project Director Kim Yongha and Deputy Project Director Lee Junho. A special Blue Archive Anime Expo 2026 panel session will be held on Friday, July 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. PDT at Petree Hall. An official livestream will also be held through the Blue Archive YouTube channel. There will also be interactive on-site activities, including new rewards, and merchandise zone experiences at the South Hall at Booth SH-2220.

Blue Archive is available now on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam. Before the launch of the Steam version, Final Weapon had the chance to interview producer Kim and studio producer Gyeong Seop An. The Blue Archive producers discussed the Steam version, support and feedback from players, their evolving roles, the possibility of a potential release on other platforms, and much more.
