Aspyr Media and Crystal Dynamics released Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 18. It serves as a remastered version of the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot and includes 8-player online multiplayer and all previously released DLC, including six bonus outfits for Lara, eight online multiplayer maps, and four multiplayer characters. What’s more, it includes digital versions of the Dark Horse comic Tomb Raider: The Beginning, the mini-art book Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival, and the “Final Hours of Tomb Raider” developer video series. The game costs $19.99.

Later this year, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a reimagining of the original game, will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Tomb Raider website says Legacy of Atlantis aims to capture the excitement of Lara’s first adventure with modern visuals, storytelling, and game design. It also says the new game will honor the spirit and atmosphere of the original title. Next year, Tomb Raider: Catalyst, a new mainline adventure in the series, will release. It spans across Northern India, and according to the official Tomb Raider website, follows Croft after a mythical cataclysm unveils ancient secrets and awakens guardian forces.

Lastly, both games will be developed in Unreal Engine 5 and feature the voice of Alix Wilton Regan as Lara Croft. She has voiced characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition, Cyberpunk 2077, and Mass Effect 3. The website claims her performance adds fresh spirit and depth to Lara’s character.
