Crunchyroll has announced a new wave of Blu-ray physical editions of anime that it will release in August 2026. Some of the new releases include Dragon Ball Daima, Clevatess, Rent-a-Girlfriend season 4, and more.
The Clevatess season 1 Blu-ray will release on August 18. The special features of the physical edition are as follows:

- Director’s Interview with Shinji Higuchi (Shin Godzilla)
- Director’s Interview with Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell)
- Behind-the-Scenes English Dub Recording

One Piece Season 14 Voyage 10, which compiles episodes 1001–1012, will also arrive on August 18 in a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack. It will feature special commissioned box art and includes Barto’s Secret Room: Special Episode 1. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A lonely dragon wants to be loved – The Movie and Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4 will release a little earlier on Blu-ray on August 11. Lastly, the previously announced Dragon Ball DAIMA will also elease on Blu-ray on August 11.
Clevatess season 2 will premiere in July 2026. The cast members include:

Kiyotaka Taguchi directs the anime at studio Lay-duce. Keigo Koyanagi returns to handle the series scripts, and Souichirou Sako is the character designer and chief animation director. Natsuko Kondou is the new sub-character designer and additional chief animation director. Nobuaki Nobusawa also returns as the music’s composer.
