COVER Corporation has announced that hololive-themed metaverse game Holoearth is shutting down on June 28 at 21:00 JST. Sales of Premium HoloCoin have been discontinued, and on June 3, the sale of official Holoearth premium items and user-created items will be discontinued. After shutting down, refund applications for unused Premium HoloCoins and Holoearth Creator Points will be open from June 29 at 12:00 JST to September 30 at 12:00 JST.

A Message From the Holoearth Project Lead
This is Ikko Fukuda (IKKO), the Holoearth Project Lead. On this occasion we announced the end of service for Holoearth.
Please allow me to offer my sincerest apologies as the project lead for not meeting the expectations of everyone who supported Holoearth.
Holoearth was created with the theme of “another world,” and has strived to be a place where talents, creators, and users can connect and make new experiences that transcend the boundaries of the virtual dimension.
The time you spent there, along with each encounter and memory, are precious to us, and will remain with everyone involved in this project. Furthermore, the technologies and learnings cultivated through Holoearth will live on in hololive production’s future efforts, helping pave the way to new experiences.
There may have been some shortcomings on our part along the way but even so, we are grateful that everyone continued to visit, enjoy, and support the world of Holoearth. While Holoearth may come to a close here, it would mean a lot to us if the experiences and bonds born within Holoearth remain with you as memories you can fondly recall from time to time.
