Ubisoft has announced that a reveal showcase for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will take place on April 23. The stream will go live on Ubisoft’s YouTube account at 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT/5 PM GMT.
Black Flag Resynced will remake one of the most beloved entries in the franchise, which initially released in 2013. The game has leaked numerous times, leading to Ubisoft itself calling it “gaming’s worst kept secret.” The validity of the many rumors and leaks will be either verified or invalidated on April 23. In a recent blog post, new Head of Content Jean Guesdon revealed that more details about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Netflix series are coming soon. He also confirms that Codename INVICTUS, the upcoming PvP entry in the series, and Assassin’s Creed Jade, the open-world RPG from both Ubisoft and Tencent, are still in development.
Further, he offers the following update on Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE:
“While we know we haven’t shared much about this one yet, it’s being built with great care by our veteran team here at Ubisoft Montreal. Expect a unique, darker, narrative-driven Assassin’s Creed experience, set during a pivotal moment in history.
You may have seen the recent news: I have recently taken the role of Creative Director for the project, in addition to my new responsibilities as Head of Content. We are taking the time to deliver on its ambitious vision, which means we’ll be quiet for a little longer, but we love seeing all the enthusiasm happening on our channels and can’t wait to unveil more when the time is right.”
Lastly, the most recent entry in the series, Assassins Creed Shadows, is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store.
