REMOW has announced that the TV light anime for the webtoon adaptation of Renkinō’s Monster Eater light novel series will be streaming in North America starting April 17 at 10:00 p.m. EDT. The Monster Eater anime will be streaming on REMOW’s “It’s Anime” free ad-supported streaming FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus. The first three episodes will debut at once.
NEE performs the opening theme song “Shōki no Sata (Insane),” and niina performs the ending theme song “STORY.”
The cast of the Monster Eater light anime includes Makoto Furukawa as Rudd and Yuki Nakashima as Elyssia.
Hikaru Satō directs the anime adaptation at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio. Kazuya Takahashi oversees the production, and nanogram.inc is collaborating on the production. Onoken is composing the anime’s music, Yūichi Imaizumi serves as the sound director, while Hiroki Nozaki and Airi Kobayashi are in charge of sound effects.
Renkinō launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in March 2023, and Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the series with illustrations by Kawaku in August 2023. LINE Manga launched the webtoon adaptation by Kei Ichimatsu, Tanako Tanao, and whomor, in June 2024. TATE’s manga adaptation launched one month later in August 2024 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! service.
