SEGA has released the Version 3.6 update for Persona5: The Phantom X featuring the long-awaited debut of 5-star Phantom Thief Goro Akechi from Persona 5 Royal. The new update also introduces the “Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 2” special event, other limited-time events, and various new rewards.
Goro Akechi arrives in the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contract, which offers a higher drop rate for certain Phantom Thieves. Akechi’s exclusive 5-star weapon can also be acquired from Arms Deals: Silent Pistol, completing his powerful Almighty build. As a 5-star Almighty Sweeper, Akechi excels at dealing massive damage when paired with powerful attacker allies. He can also use Bless attribute attacks to boost ally damage and Curse attribute attacks to reduce enemy defense. Additionally, Akechi’s Flames of Desire supports all attributes and can activate up to three different Flames of Desire effects.
The Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 2 event is running through April 30 with Persona5: The Phantom X Version 3.6. The event sees the Phantom Thieves from P5X team up with the Phantom Thieves of P5R, including Akechi. Players can explore a new Palace with challenging boss battles to earn rewards, including Gold Tickets, Platinum Milicoins, Unusual Rebel Coins, 8-Sided Dice, Meta Jewels and Loaded Dice.
8-Sided Dice and Loaded Dice collected by playing Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 2 can be used to explore Mementos and gain rewards. After progressing to a certain point, players will battle the boss of that route and defeat them to progress further. Collect Flowers while exploring and exchange them for various rewards, including Gold Tickets, Kagura Bells and other rewards.
Further, players can take on powerful bosses in Recollections of Fate. Players can earn Loaded Dice and Joy Medals, which can be exchanged for Wonder’s exclusive weapon and other rewards. Once a level is cleared, Stamina Mode will be unlocked, allowing players to repeated challenge stages with their stamina to obtain Unusual Rebel Coins and other rewards.
Goro Akechi makes an appearance at Café Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya, and players can earn various rewards by completing City Life activities. In addition, a new Synergy Story for Manaka Nagao was added, and players can earn up to 7 Platinum Milicoins by logging in every day for up to 7 days during the latest login bonus event.
