Nippon Ichi Software has announced a free demo for “fairy tale destruction” adventure game Shinigami Hime to Ishokan no Kaibutsu is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 in Japan. The Shinigami Hime to Ishokan no Kaibutsu demo lets players enjoy the game’s first picture book world “Koyou no Mori” up until the first battle against Ookami Princess. Save data from the demo carries over to the full game.

Shinigami Hime to Ishokan no Kaibutsu on April 30 in Japan for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. The game was playable in public for the first time at Happinet Game Fes! 2026m which took place at Bellesalle Akihabara from March 28 to March 29 in Tokyo.
What’s more, Nippon Ichi Software will release Prinny Sugoroku, a new party game launching this fall in Japan for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam for 7,678 yen (tax included). The publisher will also release Rudel’s new The Witch and the Hundred Knight game for Android and iOS in Japan.
Nippon Ichi PC Games is now available in Japan, offering players a direct way to experience the company’s games on PC. Players can buy games at Nippon1.jp Shop, install it on the Nippon Ichi PC Games application, and play them directly on PC. One of the first new games that will be available on Nippon Ichi PC Games is GOBBLE, which launches on September 24 in Japan for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the aforementioned launcher.
