According to CD Projekt Red’s 2025 financial results, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 significantly boosted the company’s overall revenue. The company’s overall revenue reached 867 million PLN, or $235.2 million.

The Switch 2 edition boosted the sales of CDPR’s goods and materials segment. According to Games Industry, it saw a “fivefold year-on-year increase driven by physical cartridge sales.” Further, the company’s net profit rose 33.7% to 594 million PLN ($161.4 million), up from 444.2 million PLN ($120.2 million) in 2024. Additionally, CDPR also raised the number of its developers from 707 in February 2025 to 933 in February 2026.

A majority of its developers, specifically 499 of them, are working on its next major game, The Witcher IVThe sequel to Cyberpunk, “Project Orion,” has 149 developers assigned to it. CD Projekt Red initially released Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020. The game is available now on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Update 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty expansion are available exclusively on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Both the base game and DLC will be available on Mac devices. Critics initially criticized it for its rushed release, game-breaking glitches, and failure to stay true to the game’s initial promise.

However, the Phantom Liberty expansion and numerous post-launch patches have completely overhauled the game’s mechanics and brought it closer to the game’s initial promise. Additionally, Netflix will be making a new anime series in collaboration with CDPR based on the Cyberpunk universe.
