Tencent Games and LilliLandia Games have launched the closed alpha playtest for new fantasy life simulation game Animula Nook on PC via Steam. The Animula Nook alpha playtest gives players their first hands-on experience with the game’s core features, including character customization and exploration elements.
The developers said, “The wait is over – and the doors to Minietopia are officially open! We are so excited to welcome our very first residents as part of Animula Nook’s first early Alpha test. We can’t wait to see how players interact with our miniature world and explore every whimsical corner, and look forward to seeing all the ways players will make their micro-verse their own.”
During the closed alpha playtest, Animula Nook players can explore the the miniature town of Wuruville with their cat-like Wupa companion and customize their characters and homes. The Balcony area is open, allowing players to built their homestead and enjoy planting. After customization their home, players can head into the game’s first exploration ground, Wupa Woods, to gather resources such as petals, spider silk, mushrooms, and bottled sunlight.
There will also be nearly 50 different Minies, the original residents of Minietopia, to encounter. Additional activities include cooking and dancing, and more than 500 outfits and furniture items will be available during the test as well. Before and during the alpha playtest, players can create their Minietopia Arrival Card Event to win alpha test access, exclusive merchandise, gift cards and more.
Players who signed up for the Animula Nook PC closed alpha playtest will receive a Steam key via their linked email account. As a reminder, players must have a Facebook or Google account to log in and play, and the account will be tied to the first PC used to log into the game, so players can’t switch to a different device, either. Players can also join the game’s Discord server to be the first to receive updates.
Animula Nook is coming soon to Mac, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
