VIZ Media has announced that the anime adaptation of Keigo Shinzō’s Hirayasumi manga, co-produced by Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd and Production +h., will premiere in 2027.
Kei Suezawa directs the hirayasumi anime at Production +h. Naoyuki Asano designs the characters, Mika Nishimura is the art director, and Kaori Sawada is composing the music.
Shinzō launched the Hirayasumi manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine in April 2021, and Shogakukan will publish the manga’s ninth compiled book volume on July 30. The series surpassed 1.1 million copies in circulation. VIZ Media licensed the manga and began to publish it in May 2024, and six volumes have been released in print thus far.
