WEBTOON has released The Witcher comics on its service as part of its ongoing collaboration with Dark Horse Comics. The first volume, House of Glass by writer Paul Tobin and artist Joe Querio, will release new “episodes” every Tuesday.
The Witcher comics initially released in 2014, and expands the story of Geralt of Rivia from the original CD Projekt Red games. WEBTOON have reformatted it into a new vertical scroll format so you can read it easily on any device. The comic is available on both its website and the official WEBTOON app. The service describes the series as follows:
Traveling near the edge of the Black Forest, monster hunter Geralt meets a widowed fisherman whose dead and murderous wife resides in an eerie mansion known as the House of Glass—a labyrinth of endless rooms with nothing to fill them, and horror around every corner. An anthology series following the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, the legendary witcher from the critically acclaimed video game series by CD Projekt Red!
CD PROJEKT RED officially announced The Witcher IV at The Game Awards 2024. Taking place after The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, this is a new single-player open-world RPG starring Ciri. This will mark a new saga for the franchise, and feature Ciri as the main protagonist. During a recent Unreal Engine Showcase, CD Projekt Red revealed a new look at The Witcher IV. The new footage is running on the PlayStation 5 at 60 FPS. Currently, the release date and consoles that The Witcher IV will release on are unknown.
