The Pokémon Company has announced the Pokémon GO Memories Sweepstakes, where you can win a chance to go to an upcoming Pokémon GO Fest. Players can submit their “Pokémon GO stories” using the hashtags “#GOMemories” and “#Sweepstakes” on either TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter/X.
Specifically, those who win will get tickets to the event, a round-trip, five days and four nights of lodging, and funds to cover both amenities and meals. All fans need to do, according to a press release, is follow the Pokémon GO accounts on the previously stated social media services, “share a photo or video of a personal Pokémon GO memory,” then use the aforementioned hashtags. Some of the memories could include a favorite catch or a fun moment with family and friends.
Winners will be able to go to one of the following events:
- Tokyo: Enter by March 22, 2026 (4 prizes available).
- Chicago: Enter by April 5, 2026 (5 prizes available).
- Copenhagen: Enter by April 30, 2026 (5 prizes available).

Recently, The Pokémon Company finally revealed Generation 10 for the Pokémon franchise, which will be titled Pokémon Winds and Waves. Both games will release simultaneously worldwide in 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2. The first trailer for both games teases new variants of Pikachu that wear unique costumes. While little details about the region that they will highlight are known, the first look teases jungles, beaches, lava areas, and the wide open sea.
It also teases that underwater areas may be fully explorable. Additionally, it reveals the three starters for both Winds and Waves. Browt is a grass chicken, Pombon is a fiery pomeranian, and Gecqua is a water gecko. Lastly, more details about the region, unique Pokémon, and mechanics will surface at a later date.
