Nintendo has announced that it will hold a Nintendo Direct dedicated to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on March 9. The direct will feature the film’s final trailer.
While Nintendo has not yet confirmed when tickets for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will go live, it will likely be available after the presentation ends. To commemorate the announcement, it released a new poster for the upcoming film. The poster features a look at the movie’s characters, including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, and Rosalina. It also includes Wart, the main antagonist of Super Mario Bros. 2. The livestream for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will go live on March 9 at 2 PM PDT/5 PM EDT/10 PM GMT. It will feature “no game information,” according to Nintendo. Check out the stream below:
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will release in theaters on April 1. Brie Larson, the Academy Award winning actress from Room and Captain Marvel, will voice Rosalina. Benny Safdie, director of The Smashing Machine and Uncut Gems, who has also acted in Oppenheimer and Obi-Wan Kenobi, will voice Bowser Jr, who dons his Super Mario Bros. Wonder design. The film will feature elements from both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Odyssey.

These re-releases enhance the originals with sharper textures, 4K support, smoother performance, and a few quality-of-life additions.
