The staff of the TV anime adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s KILL BLUE manga series has announced the cast members for assassin brothers duo Kazuma and Eiji Rindou. Shoya Chiba voices Kazuma Rindou in KILL BLUE, while Yoshiki Nakajima voices Eiji Rindou. The cast members also shared comments regarding their roles in the anime.
Shoya Chiba (Kazuma Rindou)
“Each and every character feels so lively, and I found myself completely drawn in by the dialogue, which is over-the-top yet still feels genuine! I also love how characters who seemed a bit low-profile at first gradually grow closer over time. There are heartwarming moments throughout, and I even found myself laughing out loud at the jokes. I’m truly happy to be a part of this.
At the same time, as a skilled assassin who reminds Ōgami of his true profession, I want to make sure I can also portray the serious side of the story. His way of speaking is quite distinctive, and I’d like to bring the quirky Kazuma to life in a fun way.”
Yoshiki Nakajima (Eiji Rindou)
“I’m Yoshiki Nakajima, and I’ll be voicing Eiji Rindou.
Personally, I’m not sure I’d want to go back to being a middle schooler, but watching Jūzō enjoy his student life makes me feel just a little bit envious.
The Rindou brothers appear as enemies standing in Jūzō’s way! What kind of fighting style will Eiji use, and what kinds of lines will he deliver…? I’m already looking forward to the recording sessions!
Thank you for your support!”
