Koei Tecmo has announced that it will make new organizational changes throughout its gaming divisions, which will go in effect on April 1. This includes the transfer of Team NINJA to Gust.
The full changes are as follows:
- Entertainment Division
- Team NINJA Division 1 will transfer to Gust, and be renamed Gust Division 2.
- Team NINJA Division 2 will split into Team NINJA Division 1 and Team NINJA Division 2.
- IP Business
- The name of this division will change to Global IP Business.
- Marketing Division
- The name of this division will change to Global Marketing Division.
- Global Marketing Department’s name will change to Marketing Department.
- Global Business Department’s name will change to Business Development Department.
- Business Division (Newly Established)
- Business Division will be established.
- Global Business Promotion Department and Business Department will be transferred from Marketing Division.
- Global Business Promotion Department’s name will change to Business Promotion Department.
Recently, Koei Tecmo, Team NINJA and Gust teased multiple new game releases for 2026. In a statement, Gust producer Junzo Hosoi stated that, “In 2026, the Gust brand will continue to take on various challenges. We’re taking on not only the Atelier series, but also fresh new titles, so please look forward to them.”
Further, Team NINJA president Fumihiko Yasuda states that, “This year, several new Team NINJA titles will be released, including Nioh 3 on February 6 and FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE on March 12, so please be sure to check them out! We’ll also be sharing news on new titles and series that are sure to delight our fans, so please look forward to that.”
Lastly, the next game from Koei Tecmo, FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE, will release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 12.
