Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Premieres April 1 with 90-Minute Special

Kadokawa has announced that Classroom of the Elite Season 4 will premiere on April 1 with a 90-minute special featuring episodes 1 through 4 on AT-X at 8:30 p.m. JST and numerous other Japanese TV networks. Following the 90-minute special premiere, episodes 5 of Classroom of the Elite Season 4 and beyond will air at 9:30 p.m. JST on AT-X. 

Eir Aoi performs the opening theme song “MONSTER,” while ZAQ performs the ending theme song “Liar Veil.” 

The cast of Classroom of the Elite Season 4 includes:

  • Akari Kitō as Suzune Horikita
  • Ayana Taketatsu as Kei Karuizawa
  • Yurika Kubo as Kikyō Kushida
  • Masaaki Mizunaka as Kakeru Ryūen

  • Minako Satō as Tsubasa Nanase
  • Hiroya Egashira as Kazuomi Hōsen
  • Momoko Seto as Ichika Amasawa

  • Shōgo Sakata as Riku Utsunomiya

Noriyuki Nomata directs the fourth season at Larche, and Yasushi Shigenobu oversees and writes the series scripts with Kyōko Katsuya. Maki Kōno is the character designer, Satoki Iida is the sound director, and Masaru Yokoyama and Kana Hashiguchi are composing the music at Lantis.

Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it’s said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school’s problem children.

What’s more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class.

One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school…
